For Minecraft 1.4.4 (And a few notes on 1.4.5) see this video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ci474w...FOR MINECRAFT 1.2.5 SEE THIS VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRKEHn...NOTE:: With all the recent updates to MineCraft, I can not guarantee that all the current downloads will work together even if the steps are followed exactly. Please make sure all the files you download are compatable with whatever version of MineCraft you have.A quick run through of how to maunally install BuildCraft 2.2.12 into a fresh install of MineCraft 1.1. First video with sound!*Note that the pre-reqs for BuildCraft are also the pre-reqs for a number of other mods, including Industrial Craft 2, Red Power, MineFactory. To install the other mods, add the zip files for them to your mods directory.***IF YOU ARE GOING TO ASK FOR HELP***Remember, there is no such thing as too much relevant information, but there is such a thing as no information. "Help me" tells me nothing, and I cannot help you. These sorts of comments will be ignored. All the info you need to fix the issue should either be in the modloader.txt file (for black screen issues), or in the error text in the Minecraft window (for when minecraft spits java jargon at you). If you can't figure out the error text, put it online at pastebin.com/ and link it so I or someone else can take a look. Most of the time though, any issue you might have (when installing the pre-reqs and buildcraft only. Adding more mods increases the chance of errors.) would probably be because the instructions weren't followed precisely, or you didn't start from a clean install.Prerequisite download links:ModLoader: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/7...ModLoaderMP: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/8...MineCraft Forge: http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/forums/...BuildCraft: http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/If you are having issues, make sure you:1) Have a fresh install of MineCraft by deleting all the files in the .minecraft/bin folder and running the minecraft.exe file to download the fresh files. I also recommend moving any mods out of the mods folder before starting.2) Download the latest version of all prerequisites and mods.3) Install the prerequisites in the following order: -ModLoader-ModLoaderMP-MineCraft ForgeAfter this point, you should be able to launch and play MineCraft as if it was not modded.4) Ensure you have a MineCraft 1.1 compatible version of all your mods.5) Install one mod at a time, and test that they work before installing the next one.
